Gymsport
Gymsport includes a wide array of sports and activities, from educational participation and fundamental movement skills right through to international competitive categories in aerobics, men's and women's artistic, rhythmic and trampoline.
At the beginner's end of the spectrum, crucial movement skills required for participation in sport, recreation and life-long health and well-being are learned. They provide physically disabled young people with the opportunity to experience and participate in movement that will assist development in skills required to play all types of sports and recreational activities.
Pathways are laid out by the national organisation that allow athletes to realise their dreams; whether they are of a gold medal, or a personal best against international competitors.
GymSports New Zealand is the national sports organisation responsible for the development, promotion and governance of the various sports represented, and is dedicated to creating a sporting environment that is inclusive of all people, no matter what level of ability they have.
